This course is designed with the goal to improve the care you provide to your clients with substance use disorders. By delving into what works in the treatment of contemporary addictions tutors with various specialties provide training with specific techniques to work with people with substance use disorder in different settings and directly manage treatment plans through the direct provision of help and support. It also looks into the various conditions that may limit your client’s access to treatment. Trainees on this course will ultimately be better prepared to provide compassionate and evidence-based care to a large population of people living with addiction and their families.
This residential summer school is for people who want a space to reflect with colleagues about their journey as family therapists and psychotherapists.
